A classic from the golden era of Rolex design, the Air-King Date Precision Ref. 5700 offers understated elegance and everyday reliability. Produced around 1966, this model is part of the broader Air-King family, introduced to honour RAF pilots of World War II.
This particular piece features a 34mm stainless steel Oyster case with a smooth bezel and a screw-down crown. The watch includes a date window at 3 o’clock with a cyclops magnifier on the acrylic crystal. This watch has character representative of its age, with discoloration and spotting to the dial. To further add to the provenance, the case-back is engraved TO ROSS FROM JUDITH 12.12.66.
