Vintage J.W. Benson Sterling Silver Fob Watch 50.5mm – London c.1938 #67699

A handsome example of British horology, this sterling silver J.W. Benson pocket watch dates to around 1938 and features a classic full hunter case with London hallmarks. The crisp white enamel dial is adorned with black Roman numerals and a sub-seconds dial, all enclosed in a 50.5mm case. Inside beats a high-grade Swiss manual-wind movement with 15 jewels, adjusted and signed for J.W. Benson.

This piece is working and winds smoothly, although it has not been serviced. A robust and attractive watch from one of England’s most respected makers.
