Description
This mixed media painting by Michael Bastow comes framed under glass.
Michael Bastow was born in England in 1943 and emigrated with his parents to Australia in 1945 where he studied architecture at Melbourne University. He returned to England in 1968 where he worked as an art director in the film industry. Later he moved to Belgium in 1974 and its there he started painting full time before installing his studio in Paris in 1982.
He has had one man shows in England, Argentina, France, Belgium, Peru, United States of America, and Australia. In 2001 he began the restoration and decoration of the Chapel Saint Alexis in Malaucène.
