Cartier Baignoire 18ct Gold & Diamond 1955 Watch (Serviced by Cartier) + Certificate #35078-1

Originally debuting in 1958 as the Oval cintré , the now named Cartier Baignoire has become a signature design within Cartier’s collection. This incredible creation has a case made from solid 18ct white gold with the bezel factory set with diamonds. It has a quartz movement, sapphire crystal glass and the original black leather band.

We have recently had this watch fully overhauled by Cartier, and it comes with a Certificate for Insurance Purposes (Valued at $27,300) as well as a detailed receipt of the work done, which included Rhodium Plating the case. The watch is in fantastic condition, with the band showing signs of age and wear. A new band can be purchased directly from Cartier for around $600AUD, or is available online for less. Included with the watch is a pouch and bag.

This iconic piece is both a beautiful piece of art, and perfectly demonstrates Cartier’s prowess in crafting watchmaking forms.
