Antique Sterling Silver Huguenin Freres Art Deco Fob / Pocket Watch C.1920s #0895-4

This lovely antique fob watch has a solid sterling silver case. It has a HF logo which stands for Huguenin Freres. It has a 925 hallmark on the ring and a swan hallmark on the back cover. The swan hallmark was use in France from 1893 to 1970 to denote imported silver.

The rims feature a square meander (Greek key) pattern and the back has straight line patterns with some swirly lines which would place it as an art deco piece, potentially in the early 1920s (between art deco and art nouveau).

The watch was not serviced, but it is in good working order and runs for about 24 hours (maybe a little less). It has a mechanical, manual-wind movement which is operated by the crown.

The case diameter is 48mm and it weighs 54.7 grams.
