Biography of Beverley R. Morris (1816–1883):
Beverley R. Morris, M.D., was a brother of the Reverend Francis Orpen Morris, a noted naturalist and author. Born in Ireland and raised in England, Morris trained at Trinity College, Dublin, and later worked as a doctor in York and Nottingham, where he specialised in treating the insane. Alongside his medical career, Morris contributed significantly to natural history with his beautifully illustrated works.
