A genuine early seventeenth century legal manuscript, dated circa 1626, beautifully presented under glass. Handwritten in rich brown iron gall ink on vellum, the document features elaborate calligraphy, decorative flourishes and period script typical of formal English legal instruments of the era.
The upper section displays ornate lettering and stylised embellishments, while the body text is densely written in flowing secretary hand. The natural creasing and age toning to the vellum are consistent with its age and add to its historical character.
Professionally framed with a decorative moulded frame and contrasting mount, the overall framed size measures approximately 535 x 350mm, making it ready to display in a study, library or period inspired interior.
