Description

This limited edition of 200 silkscreen prints is titled Doragon, and is numbered and hand signed by the artist Masao Ohba. This print has some spotting as shown in the photos.

Page Size (approximately): 19.5cm x 27cm

Masao Ohba was a modern print artist of international renown. He began his artistic career in 1956, capturing an audience with his colourful prints of birds and animals. Ohba uses a paper screen printing technique, drawing from traditional and more contemporary printmaking techniques. In 1998, he received first prize at the 17th Biennale of Contemporary Ex Libris held in Poland. He was a member of the NIKKI Art Association and the Fukuoka State Art Association. He also served as a visiting professor in Sweden at the SKANSKA Art Academy.

We are a second-hand dealer so most of our items are pre-loved and as such have signs of wear and use. We strive to refurbish items where possible, and only sell jewellery that is in good condition.
