This watch is what inspired the Rangeman series, with a dual sensor for altimeter readings, barometer and a thermometer, so you’d always have an accurate sense of where you are, and how cold the temperature is. Always helps to keep prepared.
The SGW-300H is also weather resistant, which is pretty much the main draw for the above mentioned mountain climbers. It’ll still work without any problems up to -10oc.

The buttons on this watch are quite large, so even if you’re wearing gloves, you’ll most likely still get the function that you need.
With 100m water resistance, you don’t have to worry about the rains or even dropping your watch for a few seconds into the water. Just be sure to dry it off before pressing any buttons.
