Description

This matching coffee pot and tea pot set was made by Charles Boyton in 1896. Both are exquisite and beautifully made.

Baluster form, the hinged covers with shell and scroll borders and bird of prey finials. Leaf-capped scroll handles with ivory insulators. The bodies chased with scroll foliate and each with two scroll-framed vacant cartouches. The coffee pot spout terminating in a bird’s head and with mask junction, each raised on four scroll-bracket feet with pierced apron.
