The vintage sextant was made by Dalton Hartlepool and comes in a timber storage case. It has an attractive design that would make a great display piece. It has some age and tarnishing as you would expect so please check the photos for further details on that.
The Sextant is an instrument for determining the angle between the horizon and a celestial body such as the Sun, the Moon, or a star, used in celestial navigation to determine latitude and longitude.
